About the Owner
Joseph McCarthy is a retired member of the IBEW (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers), entrepreneur, owner, and operator of income property in Boston.
As a disabled Veteran, Joseph saw the positive impact that Cannabis had on the returning veterans struggling with depression, anxiety, anger, and hopelessness. He believed that Marijuana would become legal in this lifetime and wanted to help those afflicted. The passing of Question #2 was the catalyst, that brought the medical mission to life. When question #4 passed, soon after question #2, Joseph recognized
how his products could reach a larger market, by targeting recreational
and adult use.
Joseph owned and operated Ipswich Pharmaceutical Associates Inc, which was licensed as a vertically integrated medical/adult use operation. This included, cultivation, manufacturing, and retail dispensary. In 2020, the Ipswich Pharmaceutical Associates Inc, was transferred to Fine Fettle. At that point Joseph went solo to focus exclusively on cultivation which was always his forte, under the name of Green Patriot. As the sole owner of 13 acres located in Hinsdale Mass, with the working infrastructure complete, Green Patriot was awarded a final license to cultivate in 2023.
